Conference CME Credit

 
 
 

The NODCC Disorders of the Corpus Callosum Conference has submitted an application to Grant Downing Education in order to provide continuing medical education credits for physicians and other health professionals.

We are awaiting approval and will contact all those interested once we hear from Grant Downing Education.

Conference Objectives

Upon conclusion of this educational activity, the attendee should be able to:

  • Recognize and describe the clinical spectrum of disorders of the corpus callosum (DCC), including the associated medical conditions (e.g. cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hydrocephalus).
  • Identify and distinguish the autistic spectrum symptoms typically evident in DCC.
  • Master principles of corpus callosum development and understand the areas of active research in understanding callosal disorders.
  • Understand the cognitive and educational implications of DCC and means for addressing these in the school setting.
  • Identify the radiologic presentation of DCC and its associated brain malformations.

Continuing Education Credit

Grant Downing Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Professionals from other fields may receive a certificate of attendance, which states that this activity was designated for CME credits, and number of hours the receipient attended. Recipient is responsible for submitting the certificate to his/her professional certification program according to the program policies.
