Understanding the Conditions...
Enhancing Lives.
The National Organization for Disorders
of the Corpus Callosum (NODCC) is a nonprofit
corporation established in 2002 by
professionals, parents and individuals with a
personal commitment to understanding corpus
callosum disorders.
Our Mission is to enhance the quality of life
and promote opportunities for individuals with
disorders of the corpus callosum and raise
the profile, understanding and acceptance of
these disorders through research, education,
advocacy and networking.
As an organization, we gather and disseminate
information about corpus callosum disorders,
through this website, publishing booklets,
videos, and pamphlets, coordinating an annual
conference for families and professionals, and
creating a community of support for families
and professionals.

• 2011 Fall Fundraising Campaign
NODCC is launching its first ever online fundraising campaign this fall to better utilize Facebook, email and online resources to connect people and raise funds for the organization. And, we need your help to join our team or contribute to one of the team members.
The online fundraiser will be hosted at www.razoo.com/nodcc. Through the Razoo platform, individuals & families can create their own fundraising page with a personal story and send out links to family and friends -- similar to fundraisers for marathons or walks. On your personal fundraising page, you can tell the story of your family member with DCC, give DCC facts, share information on back to school or talk about the season of giving.
NODCC relies primarily on individual financial donations and membership dues to cover operating and program expenses necessary to respond to the inquiries from families and professionals seeking information on disorders of the corpus callosum (DCC). Since its founding in 2002, NODCC has accomplished a great deal for those affected by a DCC with part-time contractors, a volunteer Board of Directors and other volunteer support. In order to provide resources (including website and printed/mailed materials) and a human response to the many inquiries we receive via email and phone, we must continuously raise money for operating expenses.
The fundraiser will close on November 15, 2011 so help us reach our goal of $25,000 by donating to the team or creating your own fundraising page. The personal connections you have can truly make a difference as we continue to broaden awareness for callosal disorders.
