The NODCC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet in person twice a year, as well as via teleconference for monthly committee meetings. Board members are chosen based on their potential to contribute to the board, either as professionals and/or as family representatives. Over half of the current NODCC board have family members diagnosed with a disorder of the corpus callosum.

NODCC Staff
The NODCC rents a small office space in Yorba Linda, California and retains three part-time independent contractors: Cathleen McCarthy (grandparent) has handled the organization's administrative responsibilities since the corporation's inception. She originally worked as a volunteer and then as a contractor for the NODCC since 2004. She is currently serving in the position of Program Director.
Barbara Fonseca (parent) was a founding board member of the NODCC and conference organizer. In 2005 she stepped down from the board and began her contractor position as Business Director. Tanory Ateek, a specialist in grant research and writing, joined the staff in January 2008 as a contractor in the position of Development Director.
NODCC Committees
Committees are comprised of both Board Members and NODCC members-at-large. Each Commitee chair must be a Board Member and serves on the Board Executive Committee. Committees include: Executive Committee (officers, committee chairs & staff), Communications Committee (chair-Dick Howell), Development Committee (chair-Karen Dineen), Nominating Committee (chair-Lynn Snyder), and Scientific Advisory Board (chair-Paul Guilbault).
NODCC Task Forces
Task Forces are organized to handle short-term projects, and are comprised of both Board Members and NODCC members-at-large. Current Task Forces include: Bylaws Revision Task Force (chair-TBD), Education Initiatives Task Force (chair-Kristen Barge), Website Task Force (chair-Daniel Daly).
